2009 Spring Classic

The Mountain Spirit Inn is sponsoring the Darby Hoops 2009 Spring Classic on April 18-19, 2009. This basketball tourney is for boys and girls in the 5th, 6th, 7th and 8yh grades. Saturday will be the pool play and Sunday will be the single game elimination tourney. Held at the Darby High School and Junior High Gyms, the admission fee is $2.00 for adults and $1.00 for children.

Highway 93 constitutes part of the Lewis and Clark Trail. This scenic highway goes all the way from Canada to Mexico, and it is part of the Transcontinental Bicycle Path, and the Mountain Spirit Inn is close to the Continental Divide Hiking Trail.

One of Darby Montana’s best accommodations, the Mountain Spirit Inn, provides lodging in the southern portion of the scenic Bitterroot Valley, nestled in between the spectacular Bitterroot Mountains and the Saphire Mountains. Located just 17 miles south of Hamilton, at the south end of Darby, the Mountain Spirit Inn is close to the Old West Gallery, the Double H Hat Factory, the Darby Clubhouse, and nearby are eight restaurants and saloons.
